First VIP Mass Outing!
There's room for improvement, that's for sure. Some photos here, the rest on facebook.  playing "STRESS!" Chye Keong sir is really good at this!  Mun Ching ma'am and Fadhilah ma'am Truth or Dare!  VIP 11/10! don't mind our faces, LOL. Lastly, special thanks to those who helped in the preparation of this outing. Thank you Jasmine, ChingYee, Celeste, YangTse, Amir, Irfan!  Time to smash the hard boiled eggs!  Preparations of sandwiches, which was not popular among the people. Laugh-Out-Loud ~  Super And that the next outing will NOT be organised by me. For all whom have successfully passed VIP 11/10, please note to come down to Red Cross House aka HQ at Haw Par Hall on 16 January 2010 by 10.30AM. Also please bring along the following amount of money for payment: Male Uniform: $65.00 Cap Badge: $4.50 Brass Button Big: $0.50 x 4 = $2.00 Brass Button Small: $0.50 x 4 = $2.00 Total: $8.50 Male Total: $73.50 Female Uniform: $60.00 Cap Badge $4.50 Head Dresst: $9.00 Brass Button Big: $0.50 x 4 = $2.00 Brass Button Small: $0.50 x 2 = $1.00 Total: $16.50 Female Total: $76.50 Uniform fitting would be done at that time, unless you have problems with the fittings, the tailor would take note of the changes and amend it and you'll have to collect another day. Im another new admin for VIP! 11/10's blog! (Yay-ness!^-^) As it is mentioned on top of the post. Today is the release of the results for O's! I know some of you had mixture of feelings. Confused? Happy? Sad? Excited? no matter what. The result is finalised. For those who did very very very very well! congrats! *Thumbs up* For those who didn't meet up to their standard? Don't be sad. What was done, can't be undone. You may or may not have put it much effort. what can you do now is put the past behind, move on! yeah? I believe all of us would meet VIP!11/10 is because we had th same passion for Red Cross. It would be good if we can put the similar passion into the course. you would soar up high and practically nth could stop you from doing better! Hey people! (: Rejoice! As the title says, there will be an 11/10 outing! That's right people!! (: It will be on the 17th of Jan, a Sunday, at 11am. We'll be meeting at Marina Bay MRT then taking a free shuttle bus to Marina Barrage. A story to share.
It's long but worth the time. One day at school a girl was asked to a party by a boy she had liked for years. Of course, saying yes she headed home happily. The girl asked her parents if she could go out that night but was turned down. Her parents were going out to eat for their anniversary and didn’t want her to go. Besides, they reasoned, you don’t even know this boy very well. The girl agreed sullenly and went to her room. Calling her friend, she made plans to pretend to spend the night there while really going to the party. Her friend agreed and the girl tricked her parents into letting her stay with her close friend. Saying goodbye to her parents the girl left to her friends house where she told the boy to pick her up. The boy arrived on time and they left for the party. The girl felt so excited to be with the boy that she liked, that at first she didn’t mind that he was drinking. Soon, even she had consumed alcohol and was feeling good about coming. Waving goodbye they both piled into the car, with the boy driving. As they drove, he kept on swerving and increasing the speed. You’re going to fast! she complained giggling a bit. Suddenly the boy crossed a red light and crashed into a car that was turning in front of them. Two days later the girl woke up in the hospital. Looking around she spotted a nurse sitting in the corner. The nurse smiled and asked how she was feeling. The girl could only nod her head before quickly asking what had happened. The nurse lowered her eyes as she explained that her crush had survived but the people in the other car had died. The girl felt tears welling up in her eyes as she thought about their families. As they began to fall down her face the girl pleaded for the nurse to tell the deceased’s families how sorry she was. Looking at the girl with anguished eyes, the nurse turned her head away and quickly got up. Please! the girl cried out. Tell them I’m so sorry! Nodding her head once the nurse fled from the room, hiding the tears that were already streaming donw her own two cheeks. How could she be the one to tell the girl, that the people who died that night, that were in the other car were her parents returning home from the restaraunt? “Every day we make choices, and every night we must sleep with the consequences of those choices.” The End, hope you enjoyed it ((: нωεε нωa |
